Orthopedic/Trauma Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
Join the orthopedic/trauma unit as a Registered Nurse on the night shift (19:00–07:00). This is a 13-week contract with 48 guaranteed hours per week and a start date of December 14, 2025.
Unit Details
The team includes unit secretaries and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support your workflow. Patient experience priorities include bedside shift reports and hourly rounding.
Schedule & Staffing
- Three 12-hour night shifts and three weekend shifts per scheduling period
- As contract labor, you may float to other medical-surgical units (General Medical-Surgical, Nephrology, Neuro/Trauma) as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- BLS certification
- Orthopedic nursing experience required
- Telemetry and NIH stroke protocol familiarity preferred
Uniform
Navy scrubs required.
