Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse – Kansas City, MO

Nights | 13-Week Contract | 48 Hours Guaranteed

This inpatient rehabilitation position offers night shift coverage (19:00–07:00) on a two-unit rehab floor serving patients focused on functional recovery and restorative care. The role requires three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and no on-call obligations.

Unit Details

• Rehabilitation unit with a med/surg patient population
• Patient Care Technicians available on the unit when census warrants; no unit secretary
• Gait belts, patient alarms, and patient lifts are standard equipment on the floor

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: 7p–7a (three 12-hour shifts per week)
• Rotating weekends required
• 48 guaranteed hours
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Target start date: December 14

Floating

• Agency staff float first per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Med/surg experience required
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• BLS certification required

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrub top with navy blue or black bottoms
