Night Shift | 13-Week Contract
This fast-paced freestanding emergency department in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a 13-week night shift assignment. The unit serves a diverse patient population across adult and pediatric populations, operating at a consistently high volume and pace.

- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Start date: September 9, 2026
Clinical Scope
The ED manages a broad range of emergent and urgent cases, including pediatric patients (team nursing model). Common procedures include IV starts, medication administration, procedural sedation, and pediatric care. The unit maintains a collaborative pod-based structure with physician and midlevel provider coverage on every shift.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current ED RN experience
- Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel nursing experience or background in high-volume emergency settings
- Strong commitment to patient scanning and medication verification protocols
