Operating Room – Travel RN

The Opportunity

The facility's operating room is seeking an experienced RN for a 16-week day shift assignment. You'll work 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 – 19:00) in a high-volume surgical environment serving diverse service lines.

What You'll Do

Provide perioperative care across multiple specialties: general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, transplant (solid organ), gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics, bariatrics, and ophthalmology. You'll manage procedures including craniotomies, spinal fusions (ALIF, XLIF, laminectomy), joint replacements, organ procurement, hysterectomies, hernia repairs, and more.

You'll float within the OR and to outpatient settings as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, physical therapy, IV services, and pharmacy.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of operating room experience (travelers only; first-time travelers not accepted)
• Hard stop requirement: Current competency in neurosurgery, transplant, general surgery, GYN, and orthopedics
• BLS certification
• RN license: Georgia or Compact required at submission
• Travel experience required

Scheduling Details

• Day shift: 06:30 – 19:00, 3 days per week
• Weekend coverage and call requirements: Variable (discussed during interview)
• Maximum 7 days time off per contract
• Blackout dates: 11/23–11/29 and 12/21–1/3
• Full compliance required to start on schedule
