Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract in Lakewood, CO. You'll work in a comprehensive stroke center performing a wide range of interventional procedures in a specialized IR department.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call approximately 8 shifts per 6-week period (including 1 weekend)
• 30-minute call response time
• Hospital provides scrubs

Clinical Scope

The department operates four IR rooms, including dedicated neuro IR capability. You'll perform general interventional procedures and neuro IR cases in a high-acuity setting. In-house radiologists support day shifts; on-call coverage nights and weekends. No floating to other departments required.

Requirements

• ARRT certification (required); Vascular Interventional (VI) or Cardiac Interventional (CI) certification preferred
• BLS (AHA)
• Prior IR experience required; Neuro IR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Must be available for a week of in-state orientation

Contract Terms

• 91 weeks total availability (13-week assignment base)
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week period
