Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join its rehabilitation and acute care teams. You'll work across inpatient, outpatient, and rehab settings, providing comprehensive care to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Shift & Schedule

8-hour days, Tuesday–Saturday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

40 guaranteed hours per week

13-week contract

Clinical Scope

You'll treat patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, cognitive impairments, and swallowing difficulties. Your caseload varies by setting:

• Outpatient: up to 9 patients per day
• Inpatient: up to 13 patients per day
• Rehab: varies by assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct bedside and video swallowing studies
• Provide direct patient care across assigned areas
• Collaborate with rehab aides, OTAs, and PTAs
• Participate in interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
• Float to other areas as needed

Requirements

• CCC-SLP (ASHA certification) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience; travel and trauma experience preferred
• Candidates with inpatient clinical background may be considered with less experience

Orientation & Support

1.5 days of department-specific orientation; charting system training included as needed.

Dress Code

Maroon polo shirt, dark pants, closed-toe shoes; lab coat optional.
