Emergency Room RN — Night Shift | Tomball, Texas

This 91-week contract (13-week renewable) places you in a fast-paced Emergency Room in Tomball, TX, working night shifts from 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. The unit serves a broad adult and pediatric population with high acuity, including chest pain, stroke, trauma, and behavioral health cases.

Clinical Scope

• Acute assessment and care across a wide range of emergency presentations
• IV initiation, blood collection, blood transfusions, and medication administration
• Adult and pediatric resuscitation
• Assistance with intubation, splinting, and restraint application
• Moderate sedation
• Care of behavioral health patients
• Flexible placement within the unit (, resuscitation rooms, and general ER)

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS or ENPC (one required)

Preferred Certifications

• TNCC
• ATCN
• CEN

Schedule & Commitment

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Weekends: Minimum 2 per month required
• On-call: None
• Float: None

Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs

Ideal Candidate

A team-oriented RN who thrives in a collaborative, close-knit environment and is comfortable rotating between and resuscitation roles as needed. Prior emergency nursing experience with pediatric and behavioral health exposure is a plus.
