Inpatient Pharmacist – 16-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join the main pharmacy team. You'll work in a fast-paced environment supporting patient safety and medication management across the hospital.
Shift & Schedule
- Rotating 8-hour days: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Monday–Friday with one weekend per month
- 40 hours per week
- Must work at least one holiday during the contract
Key Responsibilities
- Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
- Conduct comprehensive patient medication reviews
- Perform medication reconciliation
- Provide discharge medication counseling to patients
- Support daily pharmacy operations
- No IV compounding involved
Requirements
- BS Pharm or PharmD with current New York State RPh license
- Minimum 2 years recent hospital pharmacy experience
- Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years U.S. work experience
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

- 112 guaranteed contract hours
