Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Location: Dallas, TX
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 8 weeks
Unit Type: High-risk obstetrical labor and delivery
About the Role
Clinical Scope
- Manage vaginal deliveries and C-section recoveries
- Circulate in cesarean sections
- Care for high-acuity postpartum patients
- Perform D&C post-delivery recovery care
- Monitor patients using fetal monitoring equipment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery experience (required)
- Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate
- Strong bedside skills in managing high-acuity obstetrical patients
- Ability to float to antepartum unit as needed
Schedule & Expectations
- 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
- Rotating weekend coverage
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Call requirements to be discussed during interview
Dress Code
- Clean, healthy nails only (no artificial, gel, or extensions)
- Hair neat and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer
- Cover tattoos when possible
- No visible piercings except ears
- Professional appearance maintained
