Radiology – Angiography/Interventional Radiology (IR) RN
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Radiology RN for its Angiography/Interventional Radiology program. This is a 13-week contract role working four 10-hour day shifts with call responsibilities.
Unit Overview
Clinical Scope
Common procedures include permcath placement, port placement, thrombectomy, atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE intervention, and stroke/trauma cases. You'll manage critical care drips, monitor hemodynamically unstable patients, and work alongside specialized IR and radiology technologists.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Demonstrated critical care experience (ICU or ER background required)
- Angiography/IR experience, including stroke and trauma procedures
- Strong critical care assessment and medication management skills
