OR RN – Circulator
Location: Cumming, Georgia
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (8-hour shifts)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week
Position Overview
The facility's outpatient surgery center is seeking an OR RN Circulator to join the team. You'll work in a fast-paced operating room environment, managing patient flow, coordinating care, and supporting surgical teams across multiple ORs.
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate cases in the operating room
- Float between assigned ORs to ensure adequate staffing and hours
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Maintain OR protocol and sterile field management
- Coordinate with surgical teams and anesthesia
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Ability to work rotating late coverage as needed
- Holiday availability: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
