Telemetry RN – 12-Hour Days
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 12-hour day shift role (7 AM–7 PM) on a medical-surgical telemetry unit. This is a 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Schedule & Expectations
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend rotation
- Every other holiday rotation
- Possible floating to similar units
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- Minimum 3 years prior Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
- Telemetry certification or competency demonstrated (telemetry test administered on first day of orientation)
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing medical-surgical patients. The role includes standard nursing responsibilities such as patient assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with the interprofessional team.
