Pediatric / Oncology Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Pediatric/Oncology Nurse for its combined pediatric and oncology unit.Shift & Schedule
- Evening/Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekends: 6 weekend shifts required (2 Saturdays)
Unit Details
Clinical Scope
This unit manages acute pediatric and pediatric oncology patients. You'll collaborate with an oncology-focused team and may float to the PICU or NICU as needed.
Requirements
- Current Licenses & Certifications: RN license, BLS, PALS, and APHON (Oncology Nursing Certification) required
- Experience: Hospitalized pediatric nursing experience and pediatric oncology expertise are mandatory
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Dress Code: Navy blue or white scrubs
