PICU RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a flexible self-scheduling model: three 12-hour shifts per week, arranged consecutively or split as you prefer. Weekends are required on a variable basis. No on-call. First-time travelers with a minimum of 1 year PICU experience are welcome.
Clinical Scope
Float Requirement
You may be assigned to float between Pediatric Medical/Surgical and NICU units as needed. Flexibility with float assignments is required; refusal may result in termination and forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year PICU experience
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Compact state license required at submission
- 2 professional references (covering the last 3 years)
Schedule & Contract
13-week assignment starting November 30, 2026. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). All time-off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process.
