Operating Room – Surgical Services | Travel RN

Atlanta, GA | 16-Week Contract | Day Shift: 4x10 (10:30–21:00)

This high-volume OR serves a broad range of surgical service lines, making it an excellent fit for experienced perioperative nurses with a strong multi-specialty background.

Service Lines:

Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral Surgery, Plastics, Transplant (solid organ), Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics

Hard Stop Requirements — Do Not Apply Without:

• Minimum 4 years of OR experience prior to travel
• Demonstrated experience in all five of the following: Neurology, Transplant (solid organ), General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Procedures You'll Perform:

Craniotomies, lumbar/ALIF/XLIF fusions, laminectomy/discectomy, total joint replacements, open/closed fracture reductions, arthroscopy, solid organ transplants (kidney, liver, pancreas), Whipple procedures, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hysterectomy, laparoscopic GYN procedures, thyroidectomy, and more.

Schedule & Coverage:

• 4x10-hour day shifts
• Weekend and call requirements are variable (discussed at interview)
• Floating within scope of practice and to outpatient as needed

Holiday Blackout Dates: 11/23–11/29 and 12/21–1/3 — no RTO approved during these periods

RTO Policy:

• Maximum 7 days per contract
• All RTO must be submitted at time of offer; no requests accepted post-offer or during orientation week

Requirements:

• BLS certification
• Georgia RN license or Compact license (required at time of submission)
• Full compliance documentation due by the Tuesday prior to start date
