Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its nursing team on a night shift schedule. You will deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care while supervising and directing nursing staff activities. This role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Configuration: 36 or 48-hour weeks
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Holiday Coverage: Must be available to work holidays; no exceptions
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and analyze clinical data to guide care planning
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing and support staff
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary services
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Perform delegated duties and support team operations
Requirements
- Current RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification from approved vendor
- ACLS certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Healthcare IT experience required
