ICU Registered Nurse — Nights | Willits, CA

Contract: 16 weeks | Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Hours: 48 hours/week (4×12s)

This ICU position is based at a community facility in Willits, CA, serving a rural patient population with a broad range of critical care needs. The unit manages high-acuity medical and surgical patients, and staff may be asked to float to the Emergency Department to avoid low-census call situations.

Clinical Scope

• High-acuity ICU nursing with assessment, diagnosis, care planning, and outcome evaluation
• Coordination of care across an interdisciplinary team
• Patient and family education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Delegation and supervision of nursing staff as appropriate

Schedule & Float

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, four 12-hour shifts per week
• Limited on-call exposure; float to ER may be utilized in lieu of call during low-census periods

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (state of practice)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP — all required
• TNCC — preferred

Experience & Education

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience required
• 1 year of ICU experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• ER experience or comfort with ER float is a plus
