- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Days)
- Hours: 36 hours/week (3x12 shifts required)
- Holiday requests will not be approved during this contract
Unit Overview
This travel RN opportunity is in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) providing high-acuity care to critically ill and premature newborns. The unit requires strong assessment skills, experience in coordinating multidisciplinary care, and the ability to supervise and delegate to ancillary nursing staff. You will collaborate closely with families, physicians, and the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans and support continuity through discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (or compact equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- NRP (AHA or ARC-NALS) — Required
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification — Required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior acute care facility experience
Additional Requirements
- 36-hour weekly commitment (day shifts only)
- Holiday time off will not be approved for this contract period
