Registered Nurse – Emergency Department & ICU
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department and ICU. You'll provide direct patient care in fast-paced, high-acuity settings, collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent outcomes.
Shift & Contract Details
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (manager-determined)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 4, 2026
- Location: Clearlake, CA
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to emergency and critically ill patients
- Perform patient , wound care, medication administration, and post-procedure monitoring
- Float between departments as needed; ER and ICU experience preferred
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with all confidentiality regulations
Required Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- At least 1 year of RN experience within the last 24 months
- Recent acute/critical care experience within the last 12 months, OR 2+ years as EMT/ED Tech in good standing
- Comfort with patient lifting, transferring, and physical demands of bedside care
Preferred Qualifications
- MICN, NRP, TNCC, or CEN certification
- ER or ICU background
