Registered Nurse – ICU

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in its Intensive Care Unit. You will plan, coordinate, and implement care for high-acuity patients while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and families in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• No call required

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license (California)
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience or completion of an approved ICU training program
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) – required
• ACLS certification – required
• PALS certification – required within 6 months of hire
• CCRN certification – encouraged

Clinical Environment

You'll deliver care to high-acuity ICU patients in a busy, fast-paced setting. Expect routine exposure to blood and body fluids. This position is part of a unionized nursing team (RCHEA).
