Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated, high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care setting. You'll work as part of a collaborative team, supervising and directing nursing staff while managing patient care across the full spectrum of emergency presentations.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 hours per week)
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 5, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients, analyze clinical data, and develop individualized care plans
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing and healthcare team members
- Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
- Delegate appropriately and ensure safe, efficient workflow
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
- TNCC preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
