Cardiac and Vascular Radiologic Technologist – Cath Lab

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role

You'll perform and assist with cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations in a busy interventional cardiovascular lab. Working closely with physicians, you'll operate advanced diagnostic imaging equipment to capture contrast-enhanced radiographs during cardiac catheterization and other specialized procedures. You'll position patients, manage technical parameters, initiate contrast injections, and activate fluoroscopy and cinefluorography equipment as directed by the clinical team.

This role includes mentoring and training staff on technical skills and contributing input to hiring and promotion decisions.

Key Requirements

• License/Certification: ARRT certification and current Radiologic Tech (RT) license in California required
• Certifications: BLS, Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS), Fluoroscopy (FLUORO), and Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum two years recent experience in radiologic technology; three years technical experience and Special Procedures Technologist background preferred
• Education: Associate's degree or equivalent preferred; Bachelor's in radiologic technology preferred

Schedule

• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Call: After-hours and every other weekend, plus two weeknights per week (details provided at interview)
