Radiologic Technologist – CT & X-Ray
Position Overview
The facility's medical imaging department is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray and computed tomography (CT) equipment. You'll play a key role in delivering diagnostic imaging services and supporting departmental operational goals.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT and x-ray equipment with proficiency; must demonstrate competency in both modalities
- Perform mobile imaging examinations (radiographic and fluoroscopic) as needed
- Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
- Prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures
- Test defibrillators and maintain crash cart integrity
- Support departmental objectives and contribute to a productive imaging environment
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Current state RT (Radiologic Technologist) licensure
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in the field
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Three years of technical experience
- Certification in additional advanced modalities (CT, Mammography, MRI, or Sonography)
