Outpatient Oncology Nurse – Ukiah, CA

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care in an outpatient oncology clinic setting. You'll supervise assigned nursing staff, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and apply critical thinking and professional judgment to support patients throughout their cancer care journey.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Rotating schedule (no set days of the week)
• No call required
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (state of practice)
• Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC/ONCC-CHIM)
• Current BLS certification
• 2–3 years recent nursing experience (hospital or outpatient clinic)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient health data and collaborate on care planning
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient progress
• Provide patient and family education
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures; assist with minor surgical procedures
• Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care
• Delegate and supervise nursing team members
• Maintain a safe, healing care environment

Clinical Environment

You'll work in a busy outpatient oncology clinic supporting patients across the cancer care continuum. The role emphasizes direct patient care, staff coordination, and collaborative team-based practice.
