Radiologic Technologist – CT & X-Ray
Position Overview
Join the medical imaging department as a Radiologic Technologist performing computed tomography and radiographic procedures. You'll work the night shift (8:30 PM – 6:30 AM), Monday through Thursday, in a critical access hospital setting serving the Northern California community.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures based on patient needs and your competency
- Execute mobile imaging examinations (radiographic and fluoroscopic)
- Safely prepare and administer contrast agents for imaging procedures
- Transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
- Maintain and test medical equipment, including crash carts and defibrillators
- Support departmental operational goals and patient safety initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Current state RT (Radiologic Technologist) license
- ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Current BLS/CPR certification from approved vendor
- Minimum two years recent experience in radiologic technology
- Proficiency in both CT and X-ray modalities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Three years of technical experience
- Certification in additional advanced modalities (Mammography, MRI, or Sonography)
Position Details
- Shift: 8:30 PM – 6:30 AM, Monday–Thursday (4 × 10 schedule)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
