RN – Medical/Surgical Nursing
Position Overview
The facility seeks a Registered Nurse for its medical/surgical unit. You will deliver coordinated care to patients, supervise nursing staff activities, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient data to identify diagnoses and care needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with measurable outcomes
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff appropriately
- Coordinate care delivery across the multidisciplinary team
- Promote a safe, healing environment for patients and families
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in California
- Two years recent acute care nursing experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Proficiency with electronic health records systems
