Location: Kansas City, MO
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 4 days/week
Contract: 91 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week

About the Role
Join the Transplant Nephrology unit as a Med/Surg nurse caring for patients with renal disease, post-kidney transplant recovery, and related conditions.Clinical Scope
- Med/Surg nursing care for transplant and nephrology patients
- Patient assessment, medication management, and care coordination
- Support for dialysis patients (dialysis treatments occur off-unit)
- Admission workflows (streamlined by virtual nurse support, freeing you to focus on patient care)
Requirements
- ADN minimum
- BLS certification required
- Med/Surg and nephrology experience preferred
- Familiarity with kidney transplant and renal care a plus
Scheduling
- 3 weekend shifts/month
- No on-call requirements
- Agency/contract nurses float first within the unit
