Critical Care Nurse – Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Critical Care Nurse for its telemetry unit on the night shift. This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule & Duration
- NOC: 3 × 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract with 90 guaranteed hours
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months critical care experience
- AHA BLS certification
- Georgia or Compact license
- Strong ventilator management skills
- Tele interpretation capability
Preferred Skills
- Travel nursing experience
- Tracheostomy and chest tube management
- NIHSS certification
Unit Details
You'll care for telemetry patients in a monitored, intermediate-to-high acuity setting. The role demands strong assessment skills, quick decision-making, and proficiency with mechanical ventilation. You'll manage complex patients and contribute to a collaborative night shift team.
