Interventional Radiology Tech

Shift: 07:30 – 16:00
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
About the Role
You'll join a busy interventional radiology department performing a diverse range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role requires both scrub and circulate experience in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment.
Clinical Scope
The department handles vascular and neurointerventional cases including:
- Dialysis interventions (Permcaths, fistulagrams)
- Nephrostomy tubes, arteriograms, embolizations
- Y-90 radioembolization, G tubes, TIPS procedures
- Cerebral arteriograms, coil embolizations, pipeline placements
- Mechanical thrombectomies, vertebroplasties
Unit Details
- 4 procedure rooms (2 single plane, 2 biplane) plus invasive CT
- Day shifts: 2 techs and 1 nurse per room
- Night shifts: 1 tech and 1 RN per room
- Team of 15 techs plus manager and data analyst
Schedule & On-Call
- Day shift: 07:30 – 16:00
- Every 7th weekend required
- One secondary night call during the week
Required Qualifications
- Previous interventional radiology experience (scrub and circulate)
- Previous neurointerventional radiology experience (scrub and circulate)
- BLS certification
Preferred Experience
- Vascular OR background
- Catheterization lab experience
