Interventional Vascular/IR Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Vascular/IR Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment beginning October 26, 2026.
Schedule & Expectations
- Shift: Days, 4×9-hour shifts (0700–1630)
- Hours: 36 hours/week
- On-Call: 6–8 days per schedule rotation, including every 4th/5th weekend
- Holiday Rotation: Required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays (unless unit is closed)
- Call Back: 2-hour minimum callback available
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital setting (required)
- Proficiency in endovascular procedures (highly preferred)
- Experience with thrombolytics (highly preferred)
- Cardiac catheterization lab experience (preferred)
- Active Iowa Radiology license or licensure-eligible status (highly preferred)
- ARRT or RCIS/CCI credentials (nice to have)
Required Certifications & Documentation
- BLS (AHA or ARC) — current and active
- Valid driver's license
Interview Process
- Clinical pre-screening interview required
- Completed skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR specialty
- Professional reference from supervisor or manager within the past 24 months
