Labor & Delivery RN — Templeton, CA

13-Week Contract | Night Shift | 36 Hours/Week

This Labor & Delivery travel position is based at an acute care facility in Templeton, CA — a charming community in northern San Luis Obispo County, just 15 minutes from the Cambria and Morro Bay coastline.

The Role

The facility operates an LDRP model, providing comprehensive care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases. You'll manage perinatal emergencies (including crash C-sections, precipitous deliveries, and shoulder dystocia), circulate for C-sections, assess fetal and maternal well-being, manage epidural catheter monitoring, and provide patient and family education throughout the perinatal continuum.

Schedule

• Night shift: 1900–0730
• Rotating shifts; 36 hours/week guaranteed
• Note: This role will initially begin on day shift (0700–1930) while internal transfers are finalized, then transition to nights. Flexibility to cover both shifts during the transition period is required.
• No call required

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Active RN license (California or applicable compact)
• Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
