Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while coordinating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. This role emphasizes collaboration, professional practice standards, and compassionate patient and family support.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week with rotating shifts
- No on-call requirement
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (state of practice)
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (required upon hire; renewal every 2 years)
- Experience with LDRP model
- Proficiency with electronic health records systems
Clinical Scope
You will provide direct care in a labor and delivery setting, supporting patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery. Responsibilities include fetal monitoring, patient assessment, labor support, and coordination with obstetric and neonatal teams.
