Registered Nurse – ICU
Location: Simi Valley, CA
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 or 48-hour weeks
About the Role
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care in the facility's ICU, managing high-acuity patients and working alongside a skilled interdisciplinary team. This is a charge nurse or senior nursing position requiring strong leadership and clinical judgment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data; develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise and direct nursing staff at various levels; delegate appropriately
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, compassionate care
- Evaluate patient progress toward clinical outcomes
- Coordinate discharge planning and ensure continuity of care
- Provide patient and staff education
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current RN license (state of assignment)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred
- Electronic health record experience required
Schedule Notes
- Day shift, 36 or 48-hour commitments
- Must be willing to work most holidays (one holiday off may be approved)
