Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated care on the telemetry unit. You'll assess and analyze patient data, develop individualized care plans, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Day shift, 36 or 48-hour weekly options
• 13-week contract
• Holiday requests will not be approved

Required Qualifications

• RN licensure in California (current and active)
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• BSN preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data; develop and implement care plans
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to cardiac rhythm changes
• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing team members
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary staff
• Provide patient and family education
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure care continuity
• Delegate and manage nursing team duties appropriately
• Maintain safe, healing patient environment

Clinical Setting

You'll work in a telemetry unit managing patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, including those recovering from acute cardiac events and post-procedural patients.
