RN – Telemetry – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the telemetry unit on a 13-week night shift contract (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll deliver coordinated patient care, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate across disciplines to support patient safety and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for assigned patients using the nursing process and critical thinking
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to cardiac arrhythmias and changes in patient status
- Supervise and direct nursing team members; delegate tasks appropriately
- Coordinate care delivery with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, healing environment and document care according to facility standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (current)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- At least 2 years acute care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (current)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (current)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (current)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification (current)
- Electronic health record proficiency required

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 or 48-hour options
- Start: October 12, 2026
