This 8-week contract position is an excellent fit for an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry nurse comfortable working rotating day and night shifts in an acute care environment.
Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
- Start date: January 4, 2027
Assignment Details
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- Maximum of 3 days off approved during the contract period
- No float requirement
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification
- Strong familiarity with electronic health records is required
Clinical Scope
The unit manages a mixed medical/surgical and telemetry patient population requiring cardiac monitoring, post-procedural care, and close clinical assessment. Candidates should be comfortable managing telemetry patients across varying acuity levels in a fast-paced environment.
