Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse – 12-Hour Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry nurse for an 8-week contract assignment beginning January 11. You'll work 12-hour day shifts (7 AM–7 PM) providing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and post-acute recovery support.
Key Details
- Shift: 12-hour days, 7 AM–7 PM
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
- Return-to-Office: No more than 3 days per week
- Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years in nursing
- Float Requirement: Yes; willing to float to affiliated facilities as needed
Certifications & Testing
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS required
- Day-one clinical competency assessment (one attempt; pass/fail)
- Two attempts permitted to pass Relias online testing during onboarding before onsite evaluation
What to Know
This is a hands-on role managing telemetry patients in a busy med-surg environment. You'll need flexibility to support float assignments when called upon. Local candidates are welcome to apply.
