ICU Registered Nurse – 8-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 12-hour day shift position. This is an 8-week contract with a guaranteed 72 hours biweekly.
Schedule & Requirements
- 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Every third weekend required
- No float duties
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
Clinical Environment
- Medical emergencies and post-surgical cases
- Respiratory failure and sepsis
- Acute stroke patients (the facility is a certified Primary Stroke Center with telestroke services)
- Occasional pediatric critical care cases requiring stabilization
The unit collaborates closely with intensivists and hospitalists to deliver comprehensive critical care. This is typical community hospital ICU work with steady patient acuity and a balanced case mix.
