Nuclear Medicine Technologist – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a CNMT to join its nuclear medicine department on a day shift schedule. This is a 13-week contract assignment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
- Call: Required; frequency and specific hours to be discussed during interview
- Saturday/Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Weekdays: 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM
- Includes weekends and holidays
Required Credentials & Experience
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
- California Venipuncture certification
- BLS (AHA)
- 2+ years concurrent nuclear medicine experience
- Current California license
- Valid supervisory-level reference required
- Travel experience required
Important Notes
- Maximum 7-day RTO; no new RTO after submission
- Interview availability required (same day and following 3 business days preferred)
- COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Float requirements may apply; details to be discussed during interview
- Non-billable compliance modules (8 hours) must be completed by assigned deadline
- Candidates currently on assignment in the San Diego area for 9+ months are not eligible
Candidate Eligibility
This position requires travel assignment status. Candidates within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible, except for LVNs/MAs.
