Unit Overview
The facility's mother-baby unit provides comprehensive care for antepartum and postpartum patients. You'll support expectant and new mothers through labor, delivery recovery, and early postpartum care in a collaborative, evidence-based environment.
Key Requirements
- Current RN license (verification via Nursys required for submission)
- EPLS certification (required at onboarding)
- Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- TB screening: 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Physical fitness test and color vision assessment
- Background check and drug screen (11-panel)
- Two professional references
What You'll Need to Provide
Professional references, education verification, employment verification, and proof of current licensure are required at submission. Additional onboarding assessments and skills validation occur after hire.
Clinical Scope
You'll deliver direct patient care across the antepartum and postpartum continuum, collaborating with obstetricians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, family-centered outcomes.
