Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract. This is a full-time night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. Responsibilities include , patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality emergency care.
Requirements
- Current RN license (state of Tennessee)
- BLS certification required
- Emergency nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
What to Expect
Night shift hours in an emergency department demand stamina and quick decision-making. You'll work alongside experienced clinicians in a collaborative setting. Four positions are available, and this is a 13-week contract assignment starting October 5, 2026.
