X-Ray Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract in its diagnostic radiology department. This is an ideal opportunity for early-career technologists looking to build experience in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Schedule & Location

• Shift: Day, 5×8-hour (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• No on-call, weekends, or block schedules required
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 26, 2026

Clinical Scope

You will independently perform routine and complex X-ray examinations and assist with fluoroscopy procedures. The radiology department handles approximately 30 patients daily, covering a wide range of studies including chest, abdomen, extremity, spine, and trauma imaging. You'll work in an acute care environment with adult and geriatric patient populations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Texas X-ray license (must be in hand at submission)
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care radiology or comparable setting
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage high patient volume

• Float requirements between units as needed
• Dress code: solid navy blue scrubs
