Emergency Department Nurse

Position Overview

Join the emergency department as a registered nurse providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. You'll work with a diverse patient population, including those with psychiatric needs, delivering compassionate care alongside an engaged clinical team.

Shift & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights)
• Schedule: 4 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
• Start Date: November 1, 2026

Clinical Scope

The emergency department manages acute and emergent patients across all acuity levels. You'll provide assessment, stabilization, and care coordination while collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members.

Requirements

• Current RN license (verification via Nursys required)
• ACLS/BLS certification
• Immunizations: MMR, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, TB screening (PPD or IGRA)
• Fit testing and health statement completion
• Successful background check and 11-panel drug screen
• Valid driver's license/state ID
• Two professional references

Onboarding

You'll complete facility-specific competencies including core competencies, EKG exam, and EMR training prior to independent practice.
