Critical Care RN – 12-Hour Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Critical Care RN for its critical care unit serving adult and geriatric patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. You'll work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays in a clinically robust environment with 24-hour intensivist coverage.

Schedule & Contract

• 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• 8-week contract
• Start date: January 11, 2025
• Contract guarantee: 72 hours biweekly
• No float required

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• Current AHABLS and ACLS certifications
• 2+ years of ICU experience
• Demonstrated competency in:
• Ventilator management
• Vasoactive and sedation titration
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management
• Post-STEMI care
• Evidence of relevant continuing education; CCRN preferred
• Pass/fail testing on telemetry/ECG and medications required prior to acceptance

Time Off Policy

• All RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at time of application
• No holiday RTO
• Maximum 3 days RTO per contract period

About the Role

You'll provide direct bedside care to critically ill patients, collaborating with an intensivist-led team in a setting focused on high-acuity medical and surgical critical care.
