Interventional Radiology Technologist

Atlanta, GA | 16-Week Contract | Day Shift

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 4×10-hour days (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with variable days off
• Call: 1 weekday rotation and 1 weekend rotation per week, based on staffing volume
• Float: Within scope of practice as needed; will float to Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology for procedures
• Time Off: Maximum 7 days per contract; RTO must be finalized at submission
• Holiday Work: Expected to work holidays per contract terms

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 1 year in interventional radiology or related unit; first-time travelers welcome
• Licensure: GA or Compact state license required at submission
• Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS
• Clinical Screening: All candidates reviewed for clinical fit and facility alignment

Clinical Scope

You'll support a busy interventional radiology service performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including angiographies (carotid, renal, mesenteric, pelvic), embolization, stent placement, TIPS, IVC filter placement, ablations, ERCP, nephrostomy, PICC line management, dialysis interventions, and more. The unit manages adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with a daily census of 12–24.

Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams.

Onboarding

• Full compliance required to start on time
• Core compliance items and labs due within 48 hours of contract signing
• Orientation modules are specialized to interventional radiology
