PCU RN – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a PCU RN for a 13-week day assignment. This is a progressive care unit managing patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and intervention.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 4 x 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00)
- Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours (your choice)
- Start Date: November 30, 2026
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, weekend rotation expected
- Holidays: Expect to work some holidays
Clinical Requirements
- Minimum Experience: 1 year as an RN (IV start experience required)
- First-time Travelers: Accepted
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
Flexibility & Floating
- You will float within scope if other units need support.
- Block scheduling limited to 3–4 consecutive shifts maximum.
- No on-call requirement.

- Scrubs: Any color (OR/L&D/Cath Lab scrubs provided)
- Parking: Free
- Local candidates within 45-mile radius accepted
- Pending licenses not accepted
- RTO requests must be approved and documented before assignment start; keep requests minimal, especially during your first two weeks.
Pre-Assignment Requirements
- Negative 13-panel drug screen (within 30 days)
- Lab work within 24 hours of signing
