Progressive Care / Step-Down RN — Night Shift | Asheville, NC
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

About the Unit
This combined step-down and med-surg unit manages a mixed acuity patient population requiring close monitoring and skilled nursing intervention. The unit handles trach care, chest tube management, cardiac drips, wound dressing changes, and stable ventilated patients.
Schedule & Expectations
- Night shift (approximately 7 PM – 7 AM)
- 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per 6-week period
- Float rotation to other med-surg and progressive care units
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience with tracheostomy care
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with electronic charting systems
