Emergency Department RN — Wichita, KS
Contract: 16 weeks | Start Date: November 1, 2026
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Scrubs: Ceiling blue
About the Role
This travel RN position is based in an Emergency Department in Wichita, KS. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced ED environment managing patients across varying acuity levels. Float coverage may be required to similar units on the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area.
Schedule Details
- Every other weekend required
- No call required
What You'll Need
- Active RN license (Nursys verification required at submission)
- Current ED experience
- Skills checklist and two professional references required at submission
- EKG competency exam required upon onboarding
- Specialty exam and core competency assessment required upon onboarding
- Standard immunization documentation: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap
- Fit test, TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA), and health statement required
- Background check and drug screen required upon onboarding
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced ED nurse looking for a longer-term travel assignment in a collaborative clinical setting. Candidates comfortable with float expectations within the same market are encouraged to apply.
