Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/IR RN for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a full-time day shift position working Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with on-call availability (minimal callbacks expected).
About the Unit
You'll join a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory with 2 labs and 5 patient bays. The team manages pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for cardiac patients, including approximately 3 STEMIs per month. Current staffing includes 2 FT RNs and 5 FT RCIS, providing solid support and collaboration.
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Previous catheterization lab or interventional radiology experience required
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring
What We're Looking For
Advanced experience in pre-, intra-, and post-care of cardiac patients. You'll work in a collaborative environment with experienced colleagues and manageable on-call expectations.
Unit Details
- Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
- Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- On-Call: After-hours availability with minimal callback frequency
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
