Pediatric Oncology Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse for its Pediatric Oncology unit. This is a night shift position (18:45–07:15) on a combined pediatric and oncology floor serving patients from infancy through adolescence.

Clinical Scope
This role focuses on pediatric oncology nursing, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, family support, and post-procedure care. You'll work with standard infusion pumps and modern electronic health records.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- PALS, BLS, and APHON certifications (APHON required for oncology patients)
- Hospital experience in pediatric care
- Pediatric oncology background strongly preferred
Scheduling & Logistics
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend commitment: 6 weekend shifts (2 Saturdays)
- Orientation: 4-hour hospital orientation plus 8-hour floor shift
- Float assignments: May float to PICU or NICU as needed
- Scrub color: Navy blue or white tops
